Fifteen nights that put you at the centre of what Southern Africa does best — the Big Five in wild, private terrain and one of the world's great cities. The Panorama Route and Timamoon Lodge follow, then Victoria Falls — guided tour, helicopter flight over the falls, and white-water rafting on the Zambezi at Old Drift Lodge. Cape Town closes the journey: Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, Robben Island, and the Winelands around Franschhoek, with The Clarendon in Bantry Bay as your base above the Atlantic. Day-by-Day Itinerary

City: Johannesburg

Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you are met by a dedicated representative who will assist with immigration and baggage formalities. Just steps from the terminal, your hotel awaits — an oasis of comfort designed for travelers arriving after long international flights. The InterContinental Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Hotel provides a peaceful retreat amid the bustle of Africa’s largest gateway. Relax in elegant rooms featuring deep soaking tubs, blackout curtains, and a well-appointed minibar. Take a dip in the indoor heated pool or enjoy a leisurely dinner at Quills Restaurant, known for its refined African fusion cuisine.

City: Timbavati

After breakfast, return to the terminal for your short flight to Hoedspruit, gateway to the Greater Kruger. On arrival, a private transfer brings you into the wild beauty of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, home to the Big Five and remarkable biodiversity. Your destination, Simbavati Hilltop Lodge, sits high above the savanna, overlooking the shimmering Mbali Dam and the Drakensberg Mountains. Each spacious tented suite offers privacy, comfort, and panoramic views — complete with an outdoor rain shower and private deck. This afternoon, join your first guided game drive in open 4x4 vehicles, led by expert rangers and Shangaan trackers. As the sun sets, pause for refreshments and watch the bush transform into twilight.

City: Timbavati

Wake to the sounds of nature and set off on an early-morning safari, when wildlife is most active. Return for a hearty breakfast followed by time at leisure — perhaps a visit to the lodge spa or a dip in the infinity pool overlooking the plains. After lunch, embark on another game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and the elusive African wild dog. Sundowners are served on the reserve before returning for a candlelit dinner under the stars, accompanied by the sounds of the African night.

City: Timbavati

Enjoy a final full day immersed in the rhythms of safari life. Morning and evening drives reveal the intricate balance of the bush — from antelope grazing in open clearings to predators stalking the edges of riverbeds. Midday is yours to relax with a book on your deck or enjoy the lodge’s warm hospitality. Dine this evening in the boma, where a fire crackles beneath the stars and the night air hums with distant wildlife calls.

City: Hazyview

After breakfast, travel southwest through picturesque countryside to the lush Sabie River Valley. Your destination is Timamoon Lodge, an enchanting boutique retreat perched amid tropical gardens and forested hills. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing beside your private plunge pool or indulging in a couples’ massage. Dinner is served by candlelight in the Balinese-inspired restaurant, where flickering lanterns and exotic décor create a romantic atmosphere.

City: Hazyview

Today, discover the Panorama Route, one of South Africa’s most scenic drives. Your private guide leads you through breathtaking natural landmarks, including the Three Rondavels overlooking the Blyde River Canyon, the cascading Lisbon and Berlin Falls, and the dramatic vistas of God’s Window. Stop for lunch in the charming town of Graskop before continuing to Bourke’s Luck Potholes — natural rock pools carved by centuries of swirling water. Return to Timamoon Lodge for a decadent dinner and evening at leisure.

City: Victoria Falls

After breakfast, transfer to Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, a representative will escort you to Old Drift Lodge, a refined riverside retreat nestled within Zambezi National Park. Your luxury tented suite features a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers, and views of the river where elephants and hippos often gather. This afternoon, enjoy a gentle river cruise or a guided safari before dinner overlooking the Zambezi.

City: Victoria Falls

Spend the day at leisure, choosing from a variety of included activities: a game drive through Zambezi National Park, a river safari, or a walking tour of Victoria Falls — known locally as “The Smoke That Thunders.” Lunch is served at the Lookout Café, perched high above the gorge. The evening brings a fireside dinner at the lodge, with the sounds of the river as your soundtrack.

City: Victoria Falls

Begin with a white-water rafting excursion through the Batoka Gorge, navigating Grade III–V rapids with expert guides. After a picnic lunch along the riverbanks, return to town for a scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls — an awe-inspiring finale to your time in Zimbabwe.

City: Franschhoek

Fly from Victoria Falls to Cape Town, where your private driver escorts you to Franschhoek, a charming village in the heart of South Africa’s Winelands. The rest of the afternoon is free to stroll through art galleries or relax at your hotel, surrounded by vineyards and mountain peaks.

City: Franschhoek

After breakfast, explore the Winelands with your private guide. Cycle between vineyards on electric bikes and enjoy a fine dining lunch at Arkeste Restaurant by Chef Richard Carstens.

City: Cape Town

This morning, transfer to Cape Town Atlantic Seaboard and check into The Clarendon Bantry Bay, an elegant boutique hotel with sweeping ocean views. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool or strolling along the nearby promenade.

City: Cape Town

Embark on a full-day exploration of the Cape Peninsula, traveling along one of the most scenic coastlines in the world. Visit the penguins at Boulders Beach, explore Cape Point Nature Reserve, and enjoy an intimate garden-to-table lunch at Crofters Kitchen with renowned chef Nicky Gibbs. Return to the city via Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the world’s most beautiful coastal roads, ending your day with sunset views over the Atlantic.

City: Cape Town

Fly above Cape Town today on a private helicopter tour to Robben Island, gaining a unique perspective of Table Mountain and the glittering coastline. Tour the island’s historic prison before returning to the mainland for lunch at Den Anker, a harborside restaurant with Table Mountain views. This afternoon, stroll through the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap and the historic Company’s Garden before returning to your hotel.

City: Cape Town

Enjoy a final day at leisure to explore Cape Town’s boutiques, beaches, or art galleries. Your Memorii concierge is on hand to arrange additional touring or a private farewell dinner overlooking the ocean.
