Trip Summary
Eight days connecting two of Africa's most exclusive wildlife experiences — Rwanda's mountain gorillas and Tanzania's Singita Grumeti Reserve. Singita Kwitonda Lodge at the edge of Volcanoes National Park opens the journey: three nights, a gorilla trek through ancient forest to spend an hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family, and a golden monkey trek the following morning. Cultural visits and time at leisure fill the afternoons. Then by private helicopter to Kigali and charter to Sasakwa Airstrip: Singita Sasakwa Lodge, a grand Edwardian manor high above the Serengeti, for two nights of game drives in the private Grumeti Reserve. The circuit ends at Singita Faru Faru for mokoro and river safaris on the waterways below. Star-bed experiences, private deck dining, and boma evenings. Welcome to Kigali. On arrival, you'll be greeted and escorted via private helicopter to Singita Kwitonda Lodge, perched on the edge of Volcanoes National Park. Settle into your suite overlooking the mist-shrouded peaks, unwind in your plunge pool, and savor a Rwandan-inspired tasting dinner under the stars.
