Meet your private guide and set out on foot to explore three architectural jewels of Paris. Begin with the iconic, 19th-century Opera Garnier, admiring the staggering facade. Visit its interior and discover a wealth of architectural treasures including the Grand Staircase, Grand Foyer, views over the stage from one of the loggia, as well as the magical ceiling painted by Marc Chagall. Next, discover the old covered passages of Paris. Many of these 'hidden' arcades date back to the early 1800s and are registered historic monuments. Easily missed for their unassuming locations and entrances away from prominent streets like the Champs-Elysees, the passages have kept their picturesque charm of old Paris with their glass roofs and vintage wood molding storefronts. Continue with a visit to the recently transformed Bourse de Commerce, which hosts works from the extensive Pinault Collection. This historic building has been fully restored and transformed into a museum by celebrated Japanese architect Tadao Ando, introducing bold, contemporary designs whilst honoring its heritage. Enjoy a glimpse into the private collection of François Pinault, which includes over 10,000 works of art amassed over 50 years. At the end of the tour, your guide is there to either recommend other nearby points of interest, a place to eat or suggest the best way back to your hotel.
